Luca Roagna, the wisdom of a great Langhe winemaker.
Having met him, he's a very humble and interesting young man in his forties, who has brought a complementary dimension to the family wine estate. The Roagna wine estate produces some of the finest and most breathtaking wines in Piedmont, notably with the Nebbiolo grape variety.
These "Burgundies" of Italy, produced here in the traditional and totally natural way, seduce even the most jaded connoisseurs. Authenticity in the wines is de rigueur, and the contributions of experience and modernity are put to good use with a single aim: to serve up excellence in every cuvée.
The wines have precise, integrated, velvety tannins. They have an airy, saline quality despite their slender structure. The result of hard work in the vineyard and throughout the ageing process.
