Wine Description

The Pinot Noir from the Albert Boxler wine estate is a cuvée from very old Pinot Noir plots in the Grand Cru Brand. The Grand Cru Brand is bright, windy and sunny, making it ideal for producing Pinot Noir with finesse and structure. Jean Boxler has chosen to produce a Pinot Noir in a very Burgundian style, distinguished by excellent fruit and a unique gourmandise

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Over time, the Pinot Noir from the Albert Bolxer wine estate has become one of the benchmarks for great Alsatian red wines. It's a real jewel, present on the finest tables and praised by the greatest Pinot Noir enthusiasts.

On the nose, the wine expresses itself with intense notes of redcurrant, violet and hints of blueberry. In its youth, it already expresses itself perfectly, but would benefit from a few years to gain even more finesse.

The palate is full-bodied, greedy and very silky. The wine is dominated by notes of black fruit and spices, but without heaviness. The finish is caressing and very persistent. A superb Pinot Noir that surprises us vintage after vintage.
