Wine Description

Antoine Lienhardt’s Nuits-Saint-Georges is produced on the southern slopes of one of the most prestigious appellations in the Côte de Nuits. This Pinot Noir, vinified as whole clusters and without artificial interventions, faithfully expresses the purity of the appellation. Antoine Lienhardt represents the fourth generation of winemakers in his family and took over the estate in 2011.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: Antoine Lienhardt’s Nuits-Saint-Georges embodies the most direct and sincere expression of this great appellation of the Côte de Nuits. The result of rigorous winemaking practices, including organic and biodynamic farming, this wine reflects a terroir of great nobility, vinified with a minimalist approach that commands admiration.

The nose blends morello cherry, violet, and warm stone, in a profile that is both deep and airy, true to the mineral and fruity character of the Nuits terroirs.

The structure on the palate is vertical, with elegant tannins and a briny finish. This is a vibrant and deep red wine with a firm and noble character.
