Domaine De Montille's Meursault Saint-Christophe offers impressive complexity for its appellation level. On a blind taste test, many would go for a Premier Cru. Little-known to the general public, these bottles are nonetheless readily shared by purists. The De Montille family has succeeded in questioning itself and improving the quality of its wines, particularly when it comes to ageing. Today, you can enjoy Meursault wines approaching the level of the famous Coche Dury.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Meursault Saint-Christophe from the De Montille wine estate exceeds all our expectations, the result is simply stratospheric. Etienne de Montille is renowned for ensuring precise harvest maturity, ultra-rigorous sorting in the vineyard and particularly meticulous ageing. Here, we're on a par with the appellation's finest, on a par with Coche Dury.

On the nose, we discover an extremely refined Meursault, with notes of nuts and white fruits, as well as aromatic herbs and delicate hints of pastry.

The palate is fleshy, full-bodied and perfectly balanced. It's been a long time since I've found a Meursault so harmonious and radiant. Etienne de Montille is a winemaker who will continue to make a name for himself.
