Wine Description

Domaine Thibault Liger Belair's Moulin à Vent Champ de Cour comes from a parcel located in the south of the appellation and protected by a hill. This exposure means that the grapes ripen earlier and, above all, have a much more refined and elegant character than other wines from the wine estate. This is due to the presence of a wide variety of granite soils.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: The Champ de Cour cuvée is the Chambolle Musigny of "Moulin à Vent". A wine of finesse, lace and precision. Its floral character and delicate aromatic expression make it the most "feminine" Moulin à Vent in the appellation.

On the nose, the wine opens with pretty black cherry notes, blackberry perfumes and hints of timut pepper. After oxygenation, a more southern character develops, along with a touch of thyme.

The palate is full-bodied with very fine tannins, and the aromas of the nose are present on the palate, complemented by lovely pink berry notes, a touch of strawberry sugar and a mineral touch that finishes off this luminous mouth.
