Wine Description

Domaine Thillardon's cuvée Chénas Vibrations is a blend of the estate's different parcels located in the commune of La Chapelle-de-Guinchay, near Saint-Amour. The vines, aged and worked biodynamically, are planted on soils of alluvium and rolled pebbles. This terroir gives the wine a fluid texture and remarkable mineral energy. The wine estate makes a point of expressing the vibrant character of this unique terroir.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Chénas Vibrations is often described as the wine estate's most immediately accessible cuvée, embodying a convivial, generous style. Its balance and purity make it a perfect introduction to the world of Domaine Thillardon.

The first nose opens with a dazzling bouquet of fresh red fruits: Morello cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry. After aeration, more complex aromas emerge, with floral notes of peony and violet, accompanied by a spicy touch reminiscent of white pepper and a hint of gunflint.

From the outset, the Vibrations cuvée seduces with its dazzling freshness and silky texture. Juicy red fruit flavors dominate, accompanied by nuances of redcurrant and tart plum. A subtle minerality runs through the palate, lending delicate structure and a feeling of tension.
