Wine Description

Domaine Ganevat 's Poulprix cuvée is made from Gamay, Poulsard and Savagnin grapes, the proportions of which vary with each vintage. An improbable, jubilant blend, vinified in semi-carbonic maceration with minimal intervention and, above all, without the addition of sulfites.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: Poulprix is total freedom according to Jean François Ganevat. His bold blend, vinified with the same rigor as the estate's great cuvées, is a nugget of pure, uncompromising pleasure. It's a fresh, easy-drinking Jura red that will be appreciated in all circumstances.

The nose is immediately expressive, frankly developing the typical aromas of carbonic maceration: fresh red fruits, crushed strawberries and fresh violets.

The palate is just like the nose, full of fruity, delicious freshness that blossoms on incredibly fluid matter. The suppleness of this wine irrigates the palate with its flavors of red berries to a finish as crisp as it is thirst-quenching.
