Wine Description

Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson's Beaune is a sublime Côte de Beaune wine whose oldest vines are 60 years old. It's a wine of great precision that rivals the appellation's most prestigious wines. The Buisson family winemakes this Beaune in a fairly modern way, while retaining its Burgundian authenticity. This is one of the finest Beaunes I've ever tasted. A wine of incredible finesse and brilliance.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Beaune from Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson is a Burgundy that surpassed all my expectations. Its profile is at once highly complex, formidably precise and exceptionally elegant. A real favorite, both in terms of the finesse of its expression and its overall balance.

On the nose, there are hints of freshly picked raspberry, gooseberry and a touch of licorice wood. A nose of great finesse worthy of the finest Côte de Beaune wines.

On the palate, the attack is very juicy and fresh. The wine is really pinot-like, both bright thanks to the Pinot Noir and deep thanks to the exceptional quality of the terroir. A Beaune worthy of a 1er cru, which you'll want to try blind to impress your most seasoned guests.

Food pairing : Beef Tartar
