La Pousse d'Or's Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Groseilles" embodies the elegance and complexity of the great wines of this appellation. From a plot of 51.66 ares in the heart of Chambolle-Musigny, this premier cru enjoys an ideal south-east exposure, close to the famous "Musigny" and "Bonnes-Mares" climats. The terroir, composed of limestone, clay and very stony soils, gives this wine a vibrant minerality and remarkable depth.
Philippe Mischler sommelier at Mundovin : Cultivated according to biodynamic practices, this Chambolle Musigny 1er cru Les Groseilles begins with a 7-day cold maceration, followed by a 21-day vatting period with precise temperature control. Ageing takes place for 15 months in oak barrels (30% new wood), allowing the wine to develop a refined structure and aromatic palette.
On the nose, "Les Groseilles" offers an elegant expression of crisp red fruits, notably raspberry and cherry, accompanied by floral nuances and a subtle touch of spice.
On the palate, its silky texture envelops remarkably fine tannins, while a mineral freshness underpins the whole. The wine reveals great depth, with hints of licorice and saline persistence. The long, vibrant finish underlines the nobility of this unique terroir.
