The Pommard 1^er cru Combes Dessus du domaine Marquis d'Angerville comes from a very small plot of 0.38 hectares located on a clayy terroir in the heart of the appellation Pommard first raw. The vines are very old, which brings a deep and complex style to the wine. It is vinified in the purest style of Guillaume d'Angerville with partial scratching and always with the aim of doing a wine of great care.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : This Pommard 1^er cru was a true revelation during his tasting. It is a wine that reveals a rustic side typical of the terroir, it is the wine in the darkest color of the Marquis d'Angerville estate. It will surprise more than one by its unique character. This singularity linked to the terroir makes this Pommard a great wine of burgundy.

The nose reveals notes of coffee, a musk side, hints of black pepper, leather. We're in the field of rustic on this Pommard, it is fully assumed. It is the unique reflection of this first Cru Combes-Dessus.

The mouth is in the purest style of the Angerville, in fineness but with a beautiful material that offers a perfect support for the aromatics of this Pommard. There are roasted notes, hints of black fruit, a very present spicy side and a hint of undergrowth.
