The Rully red 1er cru Clos du Chapitre from Domaine Dureuil Janthial is a parcel of vines situated between 230 and 270 meters above sea level, composed of clay rich in iron oxide. The Clos du Chapitre climat is juxtaposed with the Préaux terroir and considered to be one of the finest red varietal climates in the Rully appellation.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Vincent Dureuil Janthial was voted winemaker of the year in 2019, and it's no coincidence that he produces wines of excellence in both white and red varietals. On the nose, the wine opens with notes of black cherry and blackcurrant. The wine is highly expressive from the outset, delivering its full potential with great precision. Slight notes of cedar and a hint of smoke appear after a few minutes' opening.
