Clos Blanc from Clos Venturi is one of the most distinctive wines currently produced in Corsica. Grown in a high-altitude vineyard, nestled at nearly 500 meters on granitic soils between the sea and the mountains, this white wine reflects a unique terroir, preserved and cultivated using biodynamic methods. Each cluster of Vermentino—the island’s iconic grape variety—is hand-harvested with a rare level of artisanal precision. Fermented without added yeasts and then aged in stoneware jars and demi-muids, this cuvée reveals a pure and nuanced expression. The nose immediately reveals a crisp, refined bouquet of candied lemon, fresh pear, and wild fennel. With aeration, notes of hawthorn, beeswax, and a hint of minerality emerge.

The palate is taut, supported by well-integrated acidity. The flavor profile evokes juicy pear, grapefruit, and fresh lemon. A subtle salinity, typical of great Corsican Vermentinos, lingers on the finish. The finish lingers on herbaceous and slightly anise-like notes, leaving an impression of purity and precision.
