Wine Description

Domaine des LambraysMorey-Saint-Denis is one of the wine estate's most exclusive cuvées. The vines are grown organically, which has enabled the wine to gain in finesse and digestibility over the years. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months, 50% of which are new.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: This Morey-Saint-Denis from the Domaine des Lambrays is a fine introduction to the style of the estate, and above all to the exceptional quality of the work carried out over the last few years by Jacques Devauges since his takeover by the LVMH group. This isundoubtedly one of the finest, most balanced Morey-Saint-Denis Villages on offer!

On the nose, the wine reveals all the depth and complexity of the vines planted alongside Clos des Lambray. Notes of black fruit, licorice, cedar and hints of tobacco develop elegantly.

The palate is ample, juicy and silky. The tannins are already very supple, thanks to partial destemming. The complexity of the nose and notes of sweet spicesare repeated on the finish.
