Champagne naturalness at its best!
Long description
Pascal Agrapart is a Champenois who crafts all his Champagne cuvées to perfection. He took over the family wine estate, which has been located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs since the end of the 19th century. He produces some of the finest Grand Cru champagnes in the region. Pascal Agrapart is renowned for the extraordinary quality of his terroir cuvées, which he calls "Terroirs", "Minéral", "Avizoise" and many others. Today, supported by his son Ambroise, he continues to work with the greatest respect for his natural environment, offering the very best of his Avize and Cramant grands crus. He has also chosen to use biodynamic preparations and to abandon violent mechanization as far as possible. In the end, what counts for Pascal Agrapart and the whole family wine estate is to produce champagne wines with a strong identity.
Agrapart Champagnes, including its Blancs de blancs, are among the stars in the Champagne kingdom. The Agrapart style has quickly made a name for itself among the world's greatest connoisseurs of the genre. Terroir-based champagnes, essentially made from Chardonnay grown on chalky terroirs. The result is precise, chiselled champagnes of a precision rarely equaled. Vines over 50 years old draw all the nutrients needed to produce a great Champagne. As a result, Pascal Agrapart's champagne wines are highly elegant, with an emphasis on minerality.
Winemaking is carried out separately, terroir by terroir. Ageing takes place on fine lees in demi muids, most of which come from Dagueneau. This is followed by bottle ageing.
Agrapart Champagnes have immense ageing potential. They are truly emotional champagnes.
