Alain Voge

The Alain Voge wine estate is based in Cornas and is one of the most renowned in thenorthernRhône Valley . The wine estate was founded by Alain's grandfather Henri Voge in the 1950s. Alain took over in 1965, developing the entire vineyard and winemaking process. Today, thanks to the family's efforts, the estate boasts one of the finest winegrowing heritages in Cornas and Saint Péray. The Alain Voge wine estate boasts 13 hectares of vineyards stretching from Cornas to Saint Joseph. Viticulture at the Alain Voge wine estate has changed a great deal over the last few years, with the introduction of biodynamic viticulture in 2006 .

The strength of the domaine lies in the diversity of its terroirs , which enables us to offer a wide range of wines, with a majority of Saint Péray and Cornas. All the wines come from plot selections of varying degrees of prestige. There are several Saint Péray wines, including the cuvée Harmonie and Fleur de Crussol, two top-class whites that we have selected.

As for Cornas, it's a similar story, with parcels divided into three cuvées. Cornas "Les Chailles", Cornas "Les Vieilles Vignes" and Cornas "Les Vieilles Fontaines". The latter is produced only from the best vintages.

To sum up, the Alain Voge wine estate is unquestionably one of the finest wine producers in the Northern Rhône Valley, and has made real efforts in both vineyard and cellar. All the wines they produce are highly commendable, and international critics are devoting more and more attention to this wine estate, which is sure to become one of the most "talked-about" in the coming years. Some are already hailing it as the future Thierry Allemand.
