Wine Description

Domaine Alain Voge 's Saint Péray Harmonie was born in 2001 from a blend of 30-year-old Marsanne plots planted on alluvium, limestone and granite. The vines come from the Les Plantier, Prieuré and Chamblard vineyards, all three of which are renowned and complement each other perfectly. The wine is aged in concrete vats on fine lees for around 10 months.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Cuvée Harmonie from the Alain Voge wine estate is a Saint Péray made exclusively from Marsanne grown in gobelet on stilts. Yields are low, and the energy emanating from this wine is just fabulous. It's a wine of fine aromatic expression, with just the right balance.

On the nose, the wine's aromatic palette revolves around orchard fruits, apricot and mirabelle plum. More exotic fruits such as pineapple and papaya are also present. The olfactory expression is always revealed in a delicate way.

The palate is greedy from the outset , and its charm increases as the tasting progresses. Its exoticism and precision give great pleasure, while the acidity and minerality of the terroir accompany the wine with a burst of freshness right through to the finish.
