Wine Description

Paul & Marie Jacqueson’s Rully Blanc is the result of a blend from four distinct plots located in the Fromange, La Barre, and Chaponnière climats. It offers a genuine and refined expression of the Rully appellation. Three generations of the Jacqueson family have worked to make Rully one of the most reliable appellations in the Côte Chalonnaise. This cuvée brilliantly embodies this quest for purity.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: Paul & Marie Jacqueson’s Rully Blanc captivates with its bouquet, which subtly blends mineral and floral notes. It stands out for its finesse and ease of drinking, offering remarkable balance. It’s an excellent introduction to the world of Jacqueson, before moving on to the wine estate’s Premiers Crus.

The nose is fresh and expressive right from the moment the bottle is opened. It features aromas of white peach, acacia, elderflower, and lemon. This spontaneous and luminous bouquet reflects the vintage’s natural generosity.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and substantial, carried by lively acidity that lends it momentum and a lovely length. It is a precise and easy-drinking white, whose finish—marked by a pronounced limestone minerality—unmistakably signals the terroir of Rully.
