Anne and Pierre Boisson

The wines of Anne and Pierre Boisson come from the combined vineyards of Bernard Boisson and his wife, née Vadot. Bernard is the patriarch, Pierre the son and Anne the daughter.

Since the arrival of the children at the wine estate, the quality of the wines has only increased, and they have never been so pure and complex. Pierre and Anne Boisson are two perfectionists who are phenomenally demanding when it comes to the choices they make in the vineyard, and even more so when it comes to winemaking and ageing in the cellar. The new generation has breathed new life into the wines, while preserving certain traditions wisely chosen by their father.

Today, two generations rub shoulders, evolve and work together to embody the strength of a unique appellation.

Anne Boisson is a true ambassador for the new generation of Meursault winemakers. Her heritage is precious: 1.5 hectares of vines in the villages of Meursault and Auxey-Duresses.

For his part, Pierre Boisson is renowned for ensuring precise harvest maturity, ultra-rigorous sorting in the vineyard and ultra-careful ageing. Long ageings of 15 to 20 months, depending on the cuvée, with 25% new wood for the Meursault.

The wines we loved at Anne Boisson's were her Bourgogne Aligoté, her Bourgogne Blanc and her Meursault Village.

At Pierre Boisson's, we fell in love with his Meursault Grand Charrons, which is on a par with the very first growths of Meursault.

Some of Meursault's greatest connoisseurs herald the Anne and Pierre Boisson wine estates as the future greats of the appellation , on a par with Coche Dury, a close family friend.
