Ardèche wines just the way we like them!

The Mas de Libian wine estate is located in Saint-Marcel-d’Ardèche, near the Ardèche Gorges. Hélène Thibon, the owner and winemaker, took over the family wine estate, which has been in existence since 1670. She began her journey in 2006 when she purchased three Comtois horses to help with soil cultivation and bring out the best in her terroir.

Today, the Mas de Libian wine estate comprises 25 hectares of vineyards, primarily situated on a terroir of rounded pebbles and red clay. The Thibon family has always practiced organic farming and now produces biodynamic wines.

This talented winemaker invites us to rediscover the wines of the Ardèche— wines of incredible finesse for this region. The red grape varieties planted are Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, along with a small amount of Counoise. For white wines, the varieties are Viognier, Roussanne, and Clairette.
