Mas de Libian

Ardèche wines as we like them!

The Mas de Libian wine estate is located in Saint Marcel d'Ardèche, near the Ardèche gorges. Owner and winemaker Hélène Thibon took over the family estate, which has been in existence since 1670, and began her adventure in 2006, when she bought three Comtois horses to help her work the soil and bring out the best in her terroir.

Today, Mas de Libian is a wine estate with 25 hectares of vines, mainly located on a terroir of rolled pebbles and red clay. The Thibon family has always worked organically, and is now working biodynamically.

This talented winemaker is helping us rediscover the wines of the Ardèche, wines of incredible finesse for this region. The grape varieties planted for the reds are Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre , plus a little Counoise. White grapes include Viognier, Roussanne and Clairette.
