The Good Mares of the Golden Pousse domain is one great very prestigious vintage of the Côte de Nuits. Its particularity lies in the fact that part of the vineyards are located on Chambolle Musigny and the other on Morey Saint Denis. In the Middle Ages, the term "marrying the vine", which means cultivating, bears witness to the very old reputation of the vintage. The terroir is composed ofa limestone basement and a very fine clay soil.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Good Mares is unquestionably one of the best great Bourgogne and the one that offers the most diversity of soils. In the domain of the Pousse d-And the vines are almost 100 years old. The harvest is scraped at about 75% and reared in oak barrels for 12 months.

On the nose, the wine reveals a frank and elegant character mixing the notes of small red fruits with camphored notes and undergrowth. The complexity of the bouquet is revealed only after 5 to 10 years of aging.

The mouth is tinted with shades of black and red fruits in a very airy style reminiscent of the largest musigny chambolle. Undoubtedly a great wine that is in the process of becoming and requires only a little patience.
