Domaine Anne Boisson's Bourgogne Aligoté comes from vines planted on clay-limestone terroirs adjacent to the Meursault appellation. Anne Boisson chose to make this wine in the spirit of a Meursault to show that this grape variety has the makings of a great one, and can even rival Chardonnay on certain terroirs. In the vineyard, no weedkillers are used, but shallow ploughing and a philosophy that advocates the well-being of living organisms.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Anne Boisson's Aligoté was a real revelation to taste. It' s a wine that reveals rare depth and intensity. It also stands out for the precision of its ageing and its hint of salinity, which brings real energy to this wine. This is one of the finest Aligoté wines on the market.

On the nose, the wine opens with lovely notes of brioche and popcorn, as well as magnificent notes of Piedmont hazelnuts, acacia blossom and a touch of bitter almond. A nose of unparalleled complexity and precision, the secret of which only Anne Boisson knows.

The palate is extremely delicate. The balance between ageing, substance and freshness is simply splendid. The wine's invigorating acidity gives it a long finish, with saline and iodized touches.
