Chantal Lescure 's Pommard Les Vignots is a Côte de Beaune wine produced by François Chavériat. The Pinots Noirs are totally destemmed, not crushed, and undergo a vatting period of 18 to 25 days. This terroir is located at an altitude of 350 meters on white marl on the straight slopes of the Pommard appellation.
Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Cuvée Les Vignots is the first Pommard cuvée from the Chantal Lescure wine estate. This Pommard is organically farmed, one of the few in the appellation and, above all, one of the highest quality in the sector. It is aged in barrels, of which only 30% are new.
On the nose, the wine reveals magnificent notes of violets, prune jam, cedar and a hint of juniper berries.
The palate is full-bodied and gourmet. A true Burgundy that pinotes like we love it. An exceptionally fine Pommard that rivals countless 1er crus.
