The Côte Rôtie The Great Places of the domain Clusel Roch is the most prestigious plot in the estate. It is one of the most prestigious parcels of the Côte Rôtie. One ancient variety of Syrah the Serine was grafted by the domain in the 2000s which gives more complexity and authenticity to this Côte Rôtie already over 80 years old.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : La Côte Rôtie Les Grandes Places is a very low volume wine that was raised in oak barrels for 2 years. It's a very good wine large conservation capacity, remaining beyond 20 years. It is therefore preferable to put in the cellar and forget for a while, under penalty of not fully enjoying the potential of this great terroir.

On the nose, the wine expresses its notes of black fruits, undergrowth and truffle with great elegance. After oxygenation, we discover nice cocoa touches specific to the terroir of the Côte Rôtie.

The mouth is ample, with a beautiful patina. We feel the whole personality of the terroir of this Côte Rôtie Les Grandes Places thanks to very little interventionist winemaking. We find this beautiful complexity of the nose and a spicy touch that brings length and power.
