The François Lumpp wine estate in Givry is renowned for its exceptional red wines, including the Givry Premier Cru cuvée "Clos Jus". This wine, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, perfectly reflects the expertise of the wine estate and the authentic expression of its terroir. After meticulous hand harvesting, the grapes are carefully vinified to preserve the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, a proportion of which are new, to bring out a subtle woody complexity without dominating the aromatic profile. This ageing method refines the tannins and develops the wine's depth.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : "Clos Jus" is an emblematic Premier Cru of Givry, situated on soils composed of Oxfordian limestone, oolite, red limestone and clay. These soils give the wine a distinctive mineral structure and remarkable aromatic complexity. The vines, aged around 26 years, extend over a 0.5-hectare plot, favoring a limited but high-quality production.

The nose is expressive, revealing intense aromas of black cherry, ripe plum and red fruit, accompanied by spicy nuances and delicate woody notes.

On the palate, the wine offers a silky texture with fine, well-integrated tannins. Ripe red fruit flavors mingle harmoniously with spicy, earthy touches, reflecting the complexity of the terroir. The finish is long, balanced by invigorating freshness and subtle minerality.
