Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature is an ode to the purity and elegance of Chardonnay, sublimated by the ancestral know-how of Laherte Frères. This wine, from the prestigious terroirs of Chavot and Épernay, finely reflects the characteristics of the clay-limestone and chalk soils, imparting remarkable minerality and freshness.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The vines, which are around 35 years old, are carefully cultivated with rigorous respect for nature, promoting biodiversity and preserving the authenticity of the terroir. The grapes, harvested when fully ripe, are delicately pressed to extract the best of their juice. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in oak barrels between 3 and 10 years old, bringing subtle aromatic complexity without dominating the wine's character. Partial malolactic fermentation preserves the wine's exceptional liveliness, harmoniously balancing freshness and roundness. Finally, the wine is aged on fine lees for around six months, a crucial stage that enriches its texture while preserving its natural brilliance. True to its style, Laherte has chosen a Brut Nature dosage, underscoring the purity and intensity of this cuvée.

The nose is precise and complex, blending white fruit aromas such as pear and green apple with floral notes of hawthorn and orange blossom. Nuances of brioche and a touch of chalk enhance the harmony of this bouquet.

On the palate, the attack is lively and taut, revealing citrus flavors such as lemon and grapefruit, supported by accents of white peach and saline minerality. The long, refreshing finish leaves an impression of purity and elegance.
