Wine Description

Domaine Mas JullienRosé is made from Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan and a few older grape varieties. All the vines are located on clay soils with limestone pebbles. Olivier Jullien chooses to bleed the grapes during fermentation, which means that he separates some of the macerated grapes and presses the rest, finally blending them before fermentation. It's a technique that brings out much more freshness and elegance.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : This superb rosé from the Mas Jullien wine estate is a model of balance. It was fermented in barrels and demi muids for 1 year. It's one of the finest expressions of rosé from the Languedoc, and stands out as the meal wine par excellence thanks to its dynamism and great energy.

On the nose, this gastronomic rosé reveals great complexity from the moment it opens, with notes of orange blossom, violets and rose petals. There are also hints of fresh raspberry and kirsch cherry.

The palate is greedy and above all elegant. The floral and fruity notes on the nose are complemented by hints of sweet spice and superb, invigorating acidity.
