The Maranges Lower Loyères of the domain Petit Roy is a white wine from a terroir composed of clays, limestones and marnes. Chardonnay is the king on this name and Seiichi Saito works with the utmost care by limiting its yields to the maximum. Only 20 hl per hectare on this plot to extract the quintessence of the terroir.
Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : This white marange of the Petit Roy estate is uonly beautiful illustration of Seiichi Saito's know-how who made his weapons with the greatest burgundy vinifiers. His work alongside himAnne Claude Leflaive he taught him how to make great wines.
On the nose, the wine opens with beautiful notes of lime, lemon vervein, hints of citrus and a light touch of pastry. A flattering nose, aromatic and especially without heavyness.
The mouth is rich, intense and very greedy. We find this beautiful freshness on the palate with the hints of citrus with notes of yellow fruits, quince, white peach. A wine complex and precise to the image of the wines produced by Seiichi Saito.
