Luca and Francesca de Marchi's grand cuvée, made from 100% nebbiolo grapes, is a benchmark in the Upper Piedmont Lessona appellation. Situated at an altitude of 350 meters on mineral-rich sea-sand soils, the vines enjoy an ideal southeast exposure.

The wine combines great finesse with surprising complexity. Here, the Nebbiolo grape displays an expression that is highly distinctive of the great Langhe wines. Nebbiolo's great varietal brings us much closer to a great Burgundy.

On the palate, the wine is dense and straightforward. The structure is magnificently refined and the fullness just right. The airiness is reminiscent of the great Burgundies! This is in the purest style of the de Marchi family, who also own the Isole e Olena wine estate in the Chianti region.
