Proprietà Sperino 's Rosa del Rosais a rosé from Upper Piedmont, made from 90% Nebbiolo and 10% Vespolina grapes. The grapes come from four different terroirs with vines ranging in age from 45 to 90 years. Rosa del Rosa is the archetypal gourmet wine: the harmony of this Italian rosé is perfect. The meticulous ageing orchestrated by Luca de Marchi gives this wine depth and complexity unmatched by any other to date.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Proprieta Sperino's Rosa del Rosa is one of my rosé favorites of the moment. It's much more than just a gourmet rosé, it's a reflection of the Marchi family's bottling expertise. It's a very interesting wine that didn't meet with unanimous approval at first in their very traditional family, but today it's a matter of course to produce rosé with every vintage.

On the nose, Rosa del Rosa is enchanting, with delicate aromas of wild strawberries, pomegranate, grapefruit and passion fruit. There's also an original touch of ginger, which adds a great deal of freshness.

Full-bodied on the palate, with tangy fruit aromas. The finish is uncommonly complex, with the fine minerality of Nebbiolo adding length and drinkability.
