Long description

Christian Tschida owns 10 hectares of vines, with little intervention in the vineyard or the cellar. Family-owned for 4 generations, his wine estate is located in Neusiedler See, the easternmost part of Austria. The vineyard is composed of sandy gravel, shale and limestone, and is well influenced by the nearby, very large Neusiedler Lake.

Christian Tschida's wines spend a lot of time in barrel, sometimes up to 5 years before bottling. His secrets: he uses a vertical press to extract only the best juice from the grapes. The remaining must and juice are used to make a preparation to improve the health of the vineyard.

His philosophy: laissez-faire.
