The Michel Bouzereau et Fils wine estate has been based in Meursault for more than seven generations. The family has always grown grapes there, but it was Michel Bouzereau who gave the wine estate the momentum it needed to become one of Meursault’s leading producers. After 20 years of work at the wine estate, Michel Bouzereau decided to pass the torch to his son, Jean-Baptiste. Since 1999, Jean-Baptiste has been managing the wine estate with the same passion as his father. He is constantly striving to improve the quality of his wines. That is why he ages his wines for 12 to 16 months in oak barrels that he selects with great care. The hallmark of this family is to express the terroir as faithfully as possible, without distorting the wines with artificial oak flavors.
