Domaine Dureuil-Janthial

Domaine Dureuil Janthial covers 17 hectares, mainly in the Côte Chalonnaise, but also in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, where they cultivate 20 different terroirs. Since 2001, they have chosen not to use herbicides, for the sake of the vines and the soil. Taking this environmental approach a step further, 60% of the wine estate has been farmed organically since 2008. They use the lunar calendar to work the vines. When it's time to harvest, they don't hesitate to take the risk of harvesting late. The aim is to fully ripen the grapes to produce wines that are taut and full-bodied, with good minerality and acidity.
