Aurélien Chatagnier

Domaine Aurélien Chatagnier is a young wine estate set up in 2002 on the terroirs of the northern Rhône Valley, starting out with just 1.2 hectares. Its recent renown is due to the fantastic overall work carried out by Aurélien. In particular, he had the help of Pierre Gaillard to start his winemaking, which gave him the strength to go further in his search for his terroir. His wines are authentic, lightly oaked and always of great finesse, whether red or white.

Today, he has succeeded in his ascent and is fortunate to have over 6 hectares of vines in prestigious appellations such as Saint Joseph, Condrieu, Côte Rôtie and Cornas.

The plots are located in 3 departments: Rhône, Ardèche and Loire. All the vines are worked on horseback with the least possible inputs and the strict minimum of sulfur.

We've been lucky enough to be able to work with Aurélien Chatagnier for some time now, and we're quite proud to offer you his Saint Joseph La Sybaritecuvée , his Côte Rôtie, his Condrieu and his Saint Joseph blanc.

Aurélien is clearly one of the rising stars of the Rhône Valley, and is already a great success with France's most prestigious restaurants and the most discerning wine merchants.
