Domaine Weinbach 's Riesling Altenbourg comes from vines located in the Altenbourg area, just below the Furstentum Grand Cru. This terroir is characterized by rich marl-limestone soils, offering a favorable exposure that gives the wine depth and aromatic complexity. The harmony of this cuvée, produced by Théo Faller , is the result of his constant quest to perfect the way he cultivates his vines and makes his wine.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Riesling Altenbourg produced by the Weinbach wine estate is a fine example of Théo Faller's style. His wines are mineral, precise and always in search of great delicacy. The finesse and complexity of this Riesling are on a par with some of Alsace's great growths .

On the nose, the Riesling expresses itself with great elegance, revealing hints of verbena, lemongrass, ginger and honeysuckle. An aromatic expression that is both very fine and intense.

The palate is charming and sparkling. The liveliness of this Riesling brings freshness and balance to the whole. One never tires of this wine , which finishes on a beautiful sapid minerality.
