The Morgon La Voûte Saint Vincent of the Louis Claude Desvignes wine estate lies at the foot of the Côte du Py terroirs. The soils are predominantly clay, and the vines are over a hundred years old. Winemaking is carried out in whole bunches in large cement vats to micro-oxygenate this much-needed Gamay.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Morgon cuvée La Voûte Saint Vincent from the Louis Claude Desvignes wine estate is a blend of slopes with different exposures. The vines are ploughed on the surface to avoid compacting the soil. Thanks to this tillage and respect for biodiversity, the Desvignes family achieves superb results with their wines, and this is clearly evident on tasting.

The nose is fruity, offering power, concentration and fine expression. There are notes of blackberry, wild blackcurrant and, more lightly, blueberry, combined with a touch of blueberry and licorice.

The palate is fruity and balanced, with a juicy, acidic texture. Beautiful notes of black cherry and blackcurrant are combined with hints of violet and fine camphor. A very fine Morgon!
