Hand harvested in crates, 3 sortings in the winery, destemmed between 75% and 100% depending on the year. Cold maceration for 5-7 days, vatting for 21 days on average

Livestock farming

On lees for 16 to 18 months, including 12 months in oak barrels. Late, natural malolactic fermentation, without fining or filtration, racking and bottling by gravity.

The Corton Grand Cru Clos du Roi du domaine de la Pousse d'Or is a sublime great cru of the Coast Beaune. The old vines of Pinot Noir flourish on limestone hillsides facing east. The estate of the Pousse d'Or has 1.45 hectares on what spent a time in the Domaine Royal in the 15th century. Livestock is carried out on lees in drums, new at 30%, for 18 months.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Corton Grand Cru Clos du Roi" plays instead the map of theelegance and of fineness unlike Bressandes which flourishes rather in matter and power.

On the nose, the wine is very refined and develops beautiful touches of grizzles, white pepper, sweet spices and some woody touches in its youth. A harmonious wine we must not hesitate to carafer in his youth.

The mouth is very fine and beautiful structure. The tannins are already very fine and acidity perfectly calibrated to the whole. This Corton shows a beautiful complexity from his youth and reveals a fresh, mentholic elongation.
