The Rully Rouge 1er cru Les Cloux from the Paul et Marie Jacqueson wine estate comes from a plot of Pinot Noir planted in 1975 on soils composed mainly of limestone, silt and clay.

Winemaking and ageing are carried out in oak barrels, 25% of which are new. Rully premier cru Les Cloux is a wine that reveals itself well in its youth, but can also evolve well over time. It will blossom perfectly after 4 to 5 years in bottle.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Rully 1er cru Les Cloux from the Paul et Marie Jacqueson wine estate sets an example in the Côte Chalonnaise. Winemaking and ageing are carried out in the purest Burgundy tradition , using several coopers to bring maximum complexity to the wine.

On the nose, the wine opens with intense notes of black fruit, spices such as tonka bean, black pepper and a hint of licorice.

The palate is full of finesse, with almost no tannins. The wine transports us into a basket of red fruits. A real delicacy that can be enjoyed young if decanted 2 hours before drinking.
