The Bourgogne Aux Seurrets from the Clos du Moulin aux Moines wine estate is a cuvée from a single parcel located in the plain below the village of Pommard. This cuvée highlights the typicality of the Pommard terroir, both generous and refined. Although classified as a Bourgogne regional appellation, this cuvée expresses a marked character, very close to that of its famous neighbors. The gravelly, well-exposed terroir produces grapes of great freshness and aromatic complexity.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Aux Seurrets parcel, although classified as a regional appellation, benefits from an exceptional terroir. Its gravelly soil, which extends over the lower slopes of Pommard, has excellent drainage capacity and enables the vines to develop deep roots, extracting all the richness of the subsoil. This particular exposure and the composition of its soils create a unique character for the grapes, while producing wines that display vibrant purity and obvious freshness.

The nose is elegant, with subtle aromas of fresh red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by spicy nuances and delicate floral touches. The minerality of the terroir is felt in a slightly stony background, adding freshness and complexity to the wine.

On the palate, this wine stands out for its dynamic freshness and vibrant purity. The attack is supple and the palate quickly develops depth, with fine tannins that add structure without weighing the wine down. Red fruit aromas dominate, supported by spicy nuances that prolong a long, fresh finish.
