Comte Abbatucci's redCuvée Faustine is a blend of Sciaccarello and Niellucciu. Winemaking is carried out in truncated-conical vats, for structure and finesse. Maceration is relatively long to bring out aromatic complexity and structure. Like the white and rosé wines from the same cuvée, Faustine is aged for 6 months on fine lees .

Philippe Mischler sommelier at Mundovin : In every vintage, this cuvée Faustine is always dazzlingly fresh and delicious. The Comte Abbatucci wine estate achieves feats in both vineyard and cellar, combining aromatic depth and finesse. There are very few on the island of beauty who know how to producedigestible, refined wines!

On the nose, the wine exhales aromas of black fruits, spices, garrigue, notes of blond tobacco and also very characteristic smoky touches.

The palate is full-bodied and full-bodied. The tannins are silky and delicate, distilling notes of black fruit and spice with great elegance. The balance is sumptuous, and the finish lingers on smoky notes that add breed to the wine.
