Comte Abbatucci's Monte Marecuvée is the wine estate's grand cuvée made from 100% Sciaccarellu grapes. Renowned for its rare brilliance, this exceptional cuvée comes from old vines rooted in granite terroirs on the mountainside, where they benefit from a unique maritime exposure. The result is a wine of incomparable purity, balancing finesse and power, between fruity intensity and mineral depth.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Each bottle of Monte Mare reflects the bold vision of Jean-Charles Abbatucci, the island's emblematic winemaker, who makes his wines biodynamically to preserve the authenticity of the island's grape varieties. A 20-day pellicular maceration is carried out to bring density to the wine. The juice from the grapes and the presses, vinified separately, is blended before being placed in barrels for 12 months of ageing in demi-muids and concrete eggs.

On the palate, Monte Mare reveals bewitching aromas of red fruits and Corsican spices, with a floral touch reminiscent of the island's Mediterranean landscapes. The elegance and silky texture of this Sciaccarellu make it a cuvée as complex as it is seductive, a sensory voyage through Corsica.
