Wine Description

Domaine De Montille'sSaint Aubin 1er cru En Remilly is rightly one of the most famous in the Saint Aubin commune, along with the famous Murgers des dents de Chien. It adjoins the vineyards of the Puligny Montrachet appellation, in particular the magnificent Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru. Most of the terroir is composed of limestone marl, giving the wine depth of aroma and substance.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : De Montille's cuvée En Remilly is, as with every tasting, of dazzling quality. It's a wine that's right up there with the great Puligny Montrachet. Its outstanding cellaring capacity means it can be kept for over 20 years. Emotional tasting guaranteed!

On the nose, the wine is very seductive, revealing a bouquet with nuances of apple and white peach, toast, lime blossom and orange blossom. After two hours' decanting, notes of grapefruit and lemon emerge, bringing a lovely energy.

The palate is sensational, with tremendous energy and ripe fruit. There are lovely floral and citrus notes, as well as a lovely mineral edge that excites the taste buds and makes you want to have more.
