The Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru The Mazoyères is one of the finest wines in the Vougeraie estate. The climate of Mazoyères is considered in the winery as the Holy Grail of Charms Chambertin and rises to the rank of the greatest wines of Bourgogne. The Charms Chambertin The Mazoyères has moreover a the history of the Chambertin which has long been regarded as one of the largest Bourgogne.
Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : This Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru is one of the finest wines of Bourgogne that i've had the opportunity to taste lately. It gathers everything we look for in a great wine. At the same time depth in aromatic expression, balance and very great complexity. A wine perfectly cut for the guard.
In the nose, the wine opens on elegant notes of black fruits, coffee, blond tobacco. The pleasure continues with the appearance of notes of cherries to the kirsch completed with mint notes and a very root tip noble.
The mouth is wide, fleshy and scraped. We feel an exceptional potential in this Chambertin Charms. It obviously deserves a storage time in the cellar so that it expresses itself fully, take 5 to 10 years.
