Champagne Rosé de Saignée Les Beaudiers from the Laherte Frères wine estate is a wine from one of the most prestigious "lieux dits" located mid-slope on the Chavot terroirs. The plots are among the oldest in the area, the oldest having been planted in 1953 . The vines face north-east and are planted in predominantly clay-limestone soil, with some schist and flint.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Champagne Rosé de Saignée Les Beaudiers is made from a single grape variety, Pinot Meunier, which has been destemmed and macerated for 12 hours. Aged on fine lees for 6 months, with light stirring of the lees. Disgorging was done the old-fashioned way, on the fly.

The nose is intense, with notes of redcurrant, cranberry and a touch of timut pepper. The nose is very well cared for, with a beautiful aromatic complexity that evolves as the tasting progresses.

The attack on the palate is rich, supported by fine acidity and, above all, great aromatic intensity. This is a very energetic champagne that also reveals a lovely creaminess. The finish is taut and remarkably long.
