Wine Description

Laura Aillaud 's cuvée Libre comme l'Air is a magnificent Luberon white wine made from Grenache blanc, Vermentino and Roussanne. It's a wine of great delicacy, with a lovely mineral tension. It's certainly one of the best value for money in the Luberon region, and a real favorite at the moment.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Libre comme l'Air is a white wine with a very balanced and digestible profile. It was this wine that inspired me to discover the rest of the wine estate's range. It's the most accomplished natural white wine from the Luberon region I've ever tasted.

The nose reveals notes of mirabelle plum tart, quince confit and elderflower. There are also wonderful hints of citrus and an interestingtouch of minerality .

The palate is perfectly balanced between the substance provided by the Grenache Blanc, the Roussanne and the acidity of the Vermentino. The aromatic expression of the nose is repeated, with even more intensefloral notes , like a breath of Luberon air!
