Wine Description

Domaine Marcel Lapierre 's Beaujolais is a true celebration of Gamay, distinguished by its balance and aromatic intensity. The young Gamay vines, carefully cultivated in organic viticulture, flourish by plunging their roots deep into the draining granite terroirs emblematic of Beaujolais, giving the grapes remarkable concentration and aromatic intensity. The semi-carbonic maceration used to gently extract aromas and tannins preserves the freshness of the fruit. In the same vein, ageing takes place mainly in stainless steel vats.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The philosophy of the Marcel Lapierre wine estate promotes sustainable viticulture and an authentic expression of terroir. Winemaking combines tradition and natural methods, delivering cuvées of rarely equaled purity and vivacity. This is particularly true of this Beaujolais, with its comforting intensity.

On the nose, notes of red currant, fresh raspberry and wild strawberry instantly evoke summer and its morning sweetness. A floral hint of rosehip and hibiscus adds a gourmand and exotic touch to the whole, inviting you to savor.

Fresh on the palate, with well-built tension and silky substance. The tannins melt into the fruity aromas, and the finish brings an admirable hint of sweet spice.
