Wine Description

Cuvée Le Trescol is a new cuvée produced by Olivier Jullien in collaboration with his friend Didier Michel, an organic winemaker in the Béarn region. The Gamay and Cabernet Sauvignon vines are planted on terroirs close to Millau, in Saint Georges de Luzencon to be precise. All the vines are worked organically, and the wine is vinified entirely without sulfur and aged for 18 months in vats.

Philippe Mischler sommelier at Mundovin : Trescol is an ephemeral cuvée produced with a good friend of Olivier Jullien from the Mas Jullien wine estate. A wine with an assertive character that reveals a freshness and delicacy that are out of the ordinary for this sector. The gamay helps to bring the necessary balance thanks to its invigorating acidity.

This wine reveals a very gourmand nose, with hints of cherry, blueberry and blackcurrant. A hint of spice and a very light woody touch follow.

The palate is bursting with fruit, fleshy and juicy. Intense notes of black fruit are complemented by fine acidity. An extremely drinkable wine with dazzling precision. A wonderful discovery and a wonderful surprise!
