Saint Joseph Rouge Tradition 2022 Monier Perréol | Rhône

The Saint Joseph Tradition cuvée from the Monier Perréol wine estate is produced on predominantly granite terroirs, where the Rhone Syrah grape thrives.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: "The Saint Joseph Tradition from the Monier Perréol wine estate is unbelievably well-balanced, with a great deal of delicacy, freshness, finesse and complexity. This well-balanced cuvée should be drunk now or over a decade!

On the nose, the wine reveals powerful notes of fresh, stewed black fruit, violets and a hint of spice typical of Syrah.

The palate is round on the attack, very greedy, almost a little jammy, without going overboard. Tasty notes of black fruit, a hint of fresh licorice and lovely, silky tannins add freshness to the whole.
