Domaine Moric's Lutzmannsburg Ried Kirchberg is an exceptional wine from Lutzmannsburg's smallest but no less prestigious vineyard. This unique, predominantly north-facing vineyard benefits from steep slopes and limestone soils, giving the red wines fresh character and exceptional depth. The Kirchberg vines, which range in age from 40 to 100 years, produce Blaufränkisch with great minerality, ideal for long ageing.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Lutzmannsburg Ried Kirchberg rivals the greatest wines of the Rhône Valley, to be enjoyed either young or after a decade of maturation to reveal all their finesse and complexity. Only 600 bottles produced, making this wine a rare gems not to be missed.

Lutzmannsburg Ried Kirchberg has a complex, bewitching bouquet. Aromas of undergrowth after rain mingle with hints of blueberry, raspberry, moss and a touch of clove. A scent of plum accompanied by subtle mineral nuances recalls wet stone.

On the palate, this Blaufränkisch is initially creamy and red-fruited, with a silky texture and fine acidity. The tannic structure is both firm and elegant, offering remarkable depth and length. Flavors evolve towards notes of crunchy wild berries and sweet spices. The wine presents a fascinating duality between vibrant freshness and earthy complexity.
