Wine Description

The Rully Red 1st Cru Les Cloux of the field Paul and Marie Jacqueson is derived from a parcel of Pinot Noir planted in 1975 on soils mainly composed of limestone, silts and clays.

Winemaking and farming are carried out in oak barrels of which 25% are new. The Rully first cru Les Cloux is a wine that reveals itself well in its youth but can also evolve well in time. It will flourish perfectly after 4 to 5 years of bottle.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Rully 1st Cru Les Cloux paul and Marie Jacqueson is an example in the Solomon Islands coast. Winemaking and breeding are carried out in the purest burgundy tradition in particular by using several barrels to bring the most complexity to the wine.

On the nose, the wine opens on intense notes of black fruits, spices like tonka beans, black pepper and a nice touch of liquorice.

The mouth is very fine, the tannins are almost non-existent. The wine carries us in a basket of red fruits. A veritable gourmet taste that can be enjoyed from the youth if it is carafe 2 hours before.
